As well as our regular Wednesday and Saturday evening social dance and practice sessions the following special events are open to Afton Members and friends:
Afton Tea Dance
Sunday 11th October 2026: 2.00 – 5.00 pm
Polwarth Parish Church Hall, 36 – 38 Polwarth Terrace, Edinburgh, EH11 1L
Free for members, £5 for friends, including afternoon tea.
Payment at the dance itself. Donations on the day in aid of Polwarth Church.
The entrance to the hall is on the east side of the church building and street parking is free at the weekend.

Sequence Dance Practice Session
There will be a Saturday evening practice session for popular sequence dances in Juniper Green Church Hall on Saturday 3rd October. This will run from 7 pm until the start of our regular session at 8 pm. There will be no charge for this session for anyone attending the regular evening session.
Scottish Closed Dance Championship
Sunday 1st November 2026
